50 W 47th Suite 1901, New York, NY 10036

Our office and showroom is located inside the International Gem Tower in the heart of NYC’s Diamond District on 47th Street between 5th and 6th Ave. The building is also home to the GIA headquarters, placing us at the center of the industry.

Visits to our showroom are by appointment only. We’re not a traditional storefront— each appointment is private, giving you dedicated access to the space and our full attention.

Our regular hours are 10:00am–8:00pm Monday through Friday and 10:30am–5:30pm on weekends. If you’re in the area and want to make a last-minute stop, give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Yes, many of our custom design clients are not based in NYC and work with us entirely virtually! We handle the full process remotely while keeping you involved every step of the way.

No. The only exception is custom engagement ring projects, which require a $250 non-refundable retainer ahead of your curated showroom consultation.

All projects begin with a short inquiry form. Once submitted, you’ll receive a corresponding orientation email and a link to schedule a complimentary 15-minute initial call.

During this call, we’ll go over your inquiry in more detail, answer any initial questions, and make sure we’re aligned before scheduling your curated in-person or virtual design consultation.

The cost of a custom project depends entirely on what you're looking to create. We have two custom project minimums: custom engagement rings start at $2,850, while restoration projects and designs using a client-provided stone start at $3,350.

Beyond those minimums, every project is different, and pricing varies depending on the design, materials, stones, and scope of work involved. A simple pair of custom earrings may start around $1,000, while more complex designs require a larger investment. If you have a project in mind, submit an inquiry and our design team will be happy to provide a quote.

Just about anything. We started with engagement rings and wedding bands, but we regularly design necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and chains now as well.

Yes. Most of our designs can be modified — whether that’s stone size, shape, metal, or engraving. Some pieces are better suited for customization than others, so reach out and we’ll walk you through what’s possible.

Absolutely, whether it's currently set in jewelry you'd like to reimagine or a loose stone you've sourced independently. A minimum project cost of $3,350 will apply.

If shipping your stone or piece to us, you are responsible for shipping, insurance, and providing photo documentation prior to shipment. All liability during transit remains with the shipper.

Yes. Nothing moves forward without your approval.

Our custom gallery is meant as inspiration. Since custom designs are meant to be personal, we don’t typically replicate designs exactly, but we can create something in a similar direction tailored to you.

That’s up to you! Some couples choose to start the process together to align on preferences, then leave the rest to us and one partner after selecting the center stone. Others stay involved throughout, while some prefer their partner to handle everything from start to finish.

We start with a brief inquiry form, then a 15-minute call to make sure we’re aligned on the project. After that, we’ll schedule your curated showroom (or virtual) consultation where we present a selection of stones sourced specifically for you. Once a stone is selected, we begin crafting the design around it, working closely with you from sketches to final polish.

We require a $250 non-refundable retainer ahead of your curated showroom consultation. This allows us to prepare a custom tailored selection of stones ahead of your visit. The retainer goes toward your final piece.

Yes. Designing both at the same time can allow for a more cohesive result. If you choose to do this, there is a $250 CAD design fee, which goes toward your final piece.

Typically 4–8 weeks depending on sourcing and complexity.

Yes. One of the first things we establish is your budget, as it helps determine the scope of the project and guides us on materials, stone selection, and design direction.

Our custom engagement rings start at $2,850.

Yes. We regularly rework inherited pieces into something more wearable while preserving their significance. A minimum project cost of $3,350 will apply.

Yes. We can break pieces down and create multiple new designs from them.

We can hold onto them while you decide what you’d like to do next, or ship them back to you with your finished piece.

Yes. This is a precise process — we carefully source stones to match color, cut, and character so everything blends seamlessly.

For starters, this all started as a happy accident. We come from a family of diamond cutters in India and have been in the diamond manufacturing and wholesale business for over 25 years here in the States. We began crafting engagement rings for friends, which naturally snowballed into Víya.

We’re not your typical polished, big-box brand— we’re just people who love designing and seeing the joy our pieces bring to clients. That’s what fuels us and pushes us to constantly change the status quo and as always, do diamonds differently.

We use both natural and lab-grown diamonds, along with carefully sourced natural and synthetic gemstones.

We primarily work with 10k–18k gold and platinum. Sterling silver (925 silver) is also used occasionally in select collections and design concepts.

The majority of our pieces are made in NYC in close collaboration with our local network of craftsmen. Select pieces, including our Heritage Collection, are handmade in our workshop in India.

Pieces in collections like our Heritage Collection and Monuments Collection are intentionally created as one-of-ones, whether due to the uniqueness of the stones we source or our desire to preserve the individuality of a design. While some styles may inspire future creations, we rarely recreate a piece exactly as it was originally made.
