Art has always been at the heart of Víya. Design has long served as a natural bridge between imagination and craftsmanship. While jewelry is our primary medium, the desire to explore new forms of creativity and collaboration led to something bigger.

From that spirit of exploration, The Barter Exchange was born.

The Barter Exchange is a collaborative project where Víya partners with artists across a range of mediums—painters, sculptors, glassblowers, and more. Each collaboration begins with an exchange of ideas and perspectives. From there, both Víya and the artist create pieces of equivalent value, drawing inspiration from one another’s work and creative process. At the end of the project, the pieces are exchanged—an artistic trade built on mutual respect and curiosity.

The goal is simple: to step into each other’s worlds, understand each other’s craft, and create something entirely unique—pieces that could only exist because of the collaboration itself.
