Fridge
Fridge is a New York–based experiential artist and technologist best known for creating interactive, reactive, and programmable light installations that move seamlessly from intimate studios to massive stadium environments. Working under the moniker @whatsinyourfridge, they transform LEDs, custom code, and industrial materials into kinetic light sculptures that respond in real time to sound, motion, and audience presence, turning walls, stages, and even ceilings into living, breathing canvases.
Rooted in DIY culture and underground art spaces, Fridge’s practice blurs the line between fine art, stage design, and nightlife, building immersive ecosystems where color, pattern, and rhythm pulse in sync with music and movement. Their work has become a visual language for a new generation of performers and fans—equally at home in rehearsal rooms, clubs, and arena-scale shows—offering a glimpse of how light, software, and human energy can fuse into one shared experience.
At the heart of Fridge’s ethos is play and participation: every installation is an invitation for viewers to step inside the piece, change it with their presence, and leave with a sense that art doesn’t just hang on the wall—it reacts, remembers, and evolves along with the crowd.
